In many parts of the country, the leaves and grass are turning green. Vaccinations are up, life is beginning to look like something we recognize again. I have talked to many reps who have now become very accustomed to Zoom and online presentations. They say, why would I drive 3 hours to present to someone I can see from my home office. Very difficult to argue with that.
Have to believe this is the new normal for independent reps, and it does cut down a ton of costs. There will always be that outlier who demands to be seen, or when trade shows come back, walking the floor or working the booth never hurts. Retail will always be retail, and that’s a different ball game. It’s just great to be having these conversations on how to best present the products/services as people are listening again.
